AISSEE 2027 Notification Out – Sainik School Class 6 & 9 Admission, Apply Online

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2027 notification for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools for the academic year 2027-28. The online application process started on 3 November 2026. Eligible students can apply through the official website.

How to Apply Online for AISSEE 2027?

Parents or guardians can complete the AISSEE 2027 application through the official NTA portal.

1. Visit exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/.
2. Click on the AISSEE-2027 Application Form link under Candidate Activity.
3. Open the online registration facility for new applicants.
4. Enter the candidate’s personal details, parent or guardian contact information and address.
5. Complete the registration and save the generated application number.
6. Log in using the application number and password.
7. Select the appropriate admission class, Class VI or Class IX.
8. Fill in the required academic, category, domicile and examination details.
9. Select the examination city and available school preferences as instructed.
10. Upload the photograph, signature, thumb impression and applicable documents in the prescribed format.
11. Review the completed application carefully.
12. Pay the applicable examination fee using the official payment gateway.
13. Submit the application and download the confirmation page.
14. Save the application number, confirmation page and payment receipt for future use.

Important Instructions

• AISSEE 2027 notification was released on 3 November 2026.
• Online applications for Class VI and IX are open.
• The regular application deadline is 2 December at 11:50 PM.
• Late registration is permitted from 3 to 6 December with an additional ₹500 fee.
• Application corrections can be made during 7-9 December, subject to NTA rules.
• Class VI applicants must meet the 10-12 years age requirement.
• Class IX applicants must meet the 13-15 years age requirement.
• The age cut-off date is 31 March 2027.
• The examination will be held on 31 January 2027.
• Class VI examination duration is 150 minutes.
• Class IX examination duration is 180 minutes.
• City intimation is scheduled for 11 January 2027.
• Admit cards are scheduled for 25 January 2027.
• Final admission depends on the applicable counselling and selection requirements.
