Q1. Can I apply for both AM-Mechanical-II and AM-Mechanical-III?
You can apply for any number of vacancies separately. However, the written test for CL/10/26 and CL/11/26 is held on the same date and at the same time, so check your eligibility and apply accordingly.
Q2. Is there negative marking in the RITES written test?
No. No marks are deducted for an incorrect answer.
Q3. How many candidates are called for the interview?
Candidates are called in the ratio of 1:6 to the number of vacancies.
Q4. Does training or internship count as experience?
No. Training (except on the job training), internship, teaching, academic, fellowship and PhD research experience are not counted.
Q5. Is an offer letter accepted as proof of experience?
No. You must submit a joining and relieving order or an experience certificate to claim that experience.
Q6. Will SC, ST and PwD candidates get the fee back?
Their fee is refunded after they take part in the further selection process of written exam or interview, as applicable, and their category certificate is scrutinised. The refund goes to the source account or card used for payment, after deducting GST and bank charges as applicable.
Q7. What if my mark sheet shows only CGPA?

Any corrigendum or addendum will be displayed only on www.rites.com. Other recruitment updates may be sent to your registered e-mail address or uploaded on the RITES website.
