Age Relaxation
- Up to 5 years for ST: Case Worker (both units), Special Educator/ Therapist, Data Analyst, Storekeeper cum Accountant, Nurse, Paramedical Staff, Educator, Art & Craft cum Music Teacher, Care Taker cum Vocational Instructor, Helper cum Night Watchman and Housekeeper.
- Up to 50 years for staff currently working under MSCPS: Case Worker (Child Care Institution), Special Educator/ Therapist, Data Analyst and Storekeeper cum Accountant.
Preference
- Saitual district candidates: Project Coordinator, Case Worker (Child Care Institution) and Data Analyst.
- Aizawl district candidates: Storekeeper cum Accountant and House Mother.
- Lawngtlai district candidates: Paramedical Staff.
- Candidates from the respective district: Special Educator/ Therapist, Case Worker (Child Helpline Unit), House Father, Nurse, Educator, Art & Craft cum Music Teacher and Care Taker cum Vocational Instructor.
- Candidates in close proximity to the Child Care Institution: Cook, Helper cum Night Watchman and Housekeeper.
- Staff already working under MSCPS for more than 5 years: Case Worker (Child Care Institution), Special Educator/ Therapist, Data Analyst and Storekeeper cum Accountant.
- Candidates with working experience in art/craft/music: Art & Craft cum Music Teacher.

Selection Process
Interview will be conducted for all posts. Candidates shortlisted for interview will be notified at wcd.mizoram.gov.in, and the date of interview will be notified later on the same website.
Service Conditions
- The engagement is for a period of one year on contract basis and may be extended on yearly basis.
- The engagement is Co-Terminus with Mission Vatsalya Scheme.
- House Mother and House Father candidates should be able to stay in the Child Care Institutions for 24×7.

Q1. Which MSCPS post pays the most?
Project Coordinator (Child Helpline Unit) has the highest pay at Rs. 25,000/- a month, though it carries no annual increment.
Q2. Which posts can I apply for with Class VIII?
Cook, Helper cum Night Watchman and Housekeeper need a minimum of Class VIII. Knowledge of Mizo up to Middle School Standard is also required.
Q3. Can men apply for the Nurse posts?
No. All 23 Nurse posts are marked Female only, and the qualification is General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).

Q5. What do Special Educator/ Therapist applicants need besides the degree or diploma?

Yes, for four posts. Staff currently working under MSCPS get age relaxation up to 50 years for Case Worker (Child Care Institution), Special Educator/ Therapist, Data Analyst and Storekeeper cum Accountant.
Q7. What computer qualification does the Data Analyst post need?
Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Economics need ‘O’ Level in Computer. The alternative is a Bachelor in Computer Application.
