BGMI 4.6 Update to Launch September 16 With New Supernatural Midnight Hunters Mode
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) developer Krafton India has confirmed that the game’s 4.6 update will roll out on September 16. The upcoming update will introduce the new Midnight Hunters supernatural-themed mode, bringing darker environments, new creatures and fresh gameplay mechanics to Erangel.
The theme mode will be available until November 16, 2026. As part of the new experience, Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry and Gatka will become Vampire Takeover points of interest.
BGMI 4.6 Update Brings Midnight Hunters Theme Mode
Krafton India announced on Friday that the BGMI 4.6 update will arrive on September 16, with Midnight Hunters serving as one of its biggest additions.
The new mode will transform Erangel with a darker supernatural atmosphere while keeping the existing map layout unchanged. However, several new Points of Interest (POIs) will be added to fit the theme.
Players will encounter new creatures and can take on different appearances and abilities while playing the mode.
According to Krafton India, Midnight Hunters will feature Bloodwalkers, Nightbats and Vampire Elder. The mode will also introduce Nightkeeper, a new NPC found at the Hunter Guild.
Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry and Gatka will be converted into Vampire Takeover locations. Meanwhile, Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base will feature the Nightkeeper’s Hunter Guild.
The Hunter Guild will include several themed elements, including a shooting range for hunter training, a clock tower and Scream Crates.
New Items Coming With Midnight Hunters
The Midnight Hunters mode will also introduce several themed items designed to give players new ways to survive and move around the battlefield.
The Hunter Bandage will allow players to recover quickly, while the Silvermoon Chain can be used in multiple ways as a weapon against supernatural creatures.
Another major addition is the Twilight Bat Wings, which will allow players to fly and explore the battleground in a completely different way.
Ocean Odyssey Returns to Erangel on September 30
Krafton India has also confirmed the return of the popular Ocean Odyssey theme mode.
The underwater-themed experience will return to Erangel on September 30 and will be available alongside the Midnight Hunters mode.
